Whitehaven beach

Whitehaven Beach is a beautiful clean white award winning beach located on Whitsunday Island, one of the largest 74 islands in the Whitsundays.

Stretching over nearly eight kilometres, Whitehaven beach is made of gorgeous white silica sand that is known as the purest sand in the world.

Still within Whitsunday Island, though on the northern tip of Whitehaven beach you’ll find Hill Inlet. This inlet is stunning and like whitehaven, visited by people from all over the world! When the tide shifts the pure white sand and water creates a stunning fusion of colours.

Getting there

The paradise of Whitehaven Beach can be experienced in a number if ways. There are a different power boats, ferries, yachts and luxury cruisers that depart from Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island.
