Wilson Beach, Queensland

Another small community nestled between Conway Beach and the mouth of Proserpine River is Wilson Beach.

A small natural rocky ramp exists on higher tides and is accessible to smaller boats.

Being at the mouth of the Proserpine River means it’s only a short trip to locate Mud Crabs and the usual river species of Barramundi, Mangrove Jacks  and Threadfin Salmon to name a few, can be expected at the right time of year.

The area is very tidal so attention should be paid to tide levels to avoid being stranded on the low.
